I know from personal exerience what it is like to be worried about the hardships of someone born blind or who has been orphaned.

My life has been touched by personal experience of having a blind uncle, and watching orphaned children struggle for dignity because they lacked education. I have been lucky to see at first hand education and skills boosting self-belief and confidence of these children.

My reason for starting The Gian Foundation is that personal experience has shown that these children are not looking for handouts, but for an opportunity to use their minds and bodies to learn skills that will benefit them and their families in the long run.
